Jack Fitzgibbons is the Co-Founder and CEO of Protocol Behavioral Health, where he leads the company’s mission to embed supportive care services directly within oncology practices. Previously, Jack served as CEO of Assembly Health, a tech-enabled back office services company powering thousands of physician practices and nursing homes. Before Assembly, he held various roles across venture- and PE-backed healthcare and services businesses. When Jack isn’t busy building Protocol, he enjoys spending time with his wife and five kids and cheering on the Duke Blue Devils basketball team.

Chief Clinical Officer

Dr. Cara Bohon is the Co-Founder and Chief Clinical Officer of Protocol Behavioral Health, where she leads the clinical team and ensures the care delivered to patients is evidence-based, measurable, and built for oncology. Previously, she served as SVP of Clinical Programs at Equip Health, building the clinical team that grew to serve thousands of patients nationwide. Before Equip, she was a professor at Stanford University School of Medicine, where she published more than 80 peer-reviewed articles. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband, 2 kids, and the family dog.

Chief Commercial Officer

Mark Ahern is the Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer of Protocol Behavioral Health, where he leads the company's partnerships with oncology practices and cancer centers across the country. Previously, he served as Chief Development Officer at The US Oncology Network/McKesson and at Vantage Oncology, which was eventually acquired by US Oncology/McKesson. When Mark isn't busy creating physician partnership opportunities for Protocol, he enjoys time with his wife, three sons, a new daughter-in-law, and a large and growing family in the Chicago area.

Ryan Powers is the Co-Founder and COO/CFO of Protocol Behavioral Health, where he oversees the financial and operational infrastructure that powers the company's growth. Before Protocol, he served as CFO at Oshi Health, a leading value-based specialty care company, and as SVP of Finance and Business Operations at NOCD, one of the fastest-growing behavioral health platforms in the country. Outside of work, Ryan spends his time with his wife and three kids, on the golf course, and following Michigan and Detroit sports.

Senior Director of Operations

Sydney Wasserman is the Senior Director of Operations at Protocol Behavioral Health, where she leads the operational systems that bring Protocol's care model to life inside oncology practices. Previously, she led market implementation at agilon health, integrating value-based care programs for provider groups across the country. Before agilon, she held operations and product strategy roles at Cancer Treatment Centers of America.Outside of work, she's a Chicago-based runner and cyclist who loves to cook and host, and is on a permanent quest for the city's best donut.
